WELCOME!
 The Iowa Draft Pony Hitch Association holds monthly meetings
around the state. Meetings are held at various locations.
Restaurants, members homes, community buildings, other areas of interest are all
prime locations for our meetings. If you are interested in hosting a
meeting, please contact us.
We are always accepting new members to join us. Even if you don't own a Draft Pony, but would like to learn about them, you are most welcomed to join. Just email us. We would enjoy having you and your family as members. We encourage
children to join to learn how to Drive, Show or just learn about the ponies.
Our Club participates in many events throughout the state. County Fairs, town festivals, parades, Old-time Farming Shows and club events. The club
members are usually very busy with hayrides, parades, shows, and just having fun
on the farm.
Our Club is sponsored by membership dues, donations, dinners, and other
various fund raising activities throughout the year.
 Members don't have to have a horse
(any size welcome) and wagon to participate in parades and fun drives. You can ride on several of the other member's wagons that are included. Riding Horses are allowed to follow along also.
If you have an interest in these draft animals - even if you don't own any - we encourage you to join us for learning and fun.
Membership in the Iowa Draft Pony Association brings you our monthly newsletter detailing club activities and events around the area.
Members of the association elect the officers for the year. Election of
officers is held at the November meeting.
